The project
A two-storey addition on a 150-year-old home in Rothesay.
The client wanted a new primary suite with an ensuite, laundry and walk-in closet, plus a gym on the basement level. We also replaced the siding on the entire home with cedar plank and PVC trim.
The house is about 150 years old, had once been through a fire and had been lifted. Being on a hill made the site difficult: nearby retaining walls had to be adjusted, and a lot of rot had to be replaced along the way.
